One of the things I do when I have a need to draw but can't think of anything, is to stylize different dog breeds. I couldn't take this one's design as far as I would like to be able to but I nonetheless like how it turned out. Wanted it to resemble a post card.

It's excellent, very much captures the essence of the sight hound. I love the frosty brightness to the coat and the head carriage. Have you seen the wire coat Ibizan hounds?? ('nuther sight hound) and Tibetan Mastiff. I have a little deaf white lurcher with ice blue eyes. If you want her pix let me know.
I'm going to share your Borzoi on a FB page called Greyhound Friends For Life, people who have adopted racing greys.
They will love it!!

Agh, sorry for the late reply! Thank you for the compliments, it's nice to hear friends of the breed to approve of my interpretation of it.

I've seen pictures of Ibizan hounds, but I have never seen one in real life. I'd love to, though, they seem adorable!
